In mid-March, Comcast announced it would not impose penalties for late payments, as a response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Fees are still showing up on bills, but you can have them waived by asking, a Comcast spokesperson confirmed. You don’t have to provide evidence of financial hardship to get the charges removed. The company’s late fee policy, the spokesperson said, applies to all services, not just the internet.
